A Dream Workshop is governed by R e s p e c t.

Respect the Dream:

Listen to the dream.

Every dream tells a story; every dream has a meaning.
Interact with the dream and allow the meaning to unfold.

Engage with patience and persistence.

Do not rush the process; every dream has its own timetable.
Let it breathe, mature, call to you.

Finding the meaning includes responding.
The response may not be easy.

Respect Yourself as the Dreamer:

You are the creator, producer, designer, director and actors in your dream.
Listen to others; listen to the dream; and listen to yourself.
Others may offer suggestions.
The meaning of your dream will unfold from within you.

Respect Yourself as a Listener:

If you are invited to listen to someone’s dream, watch and listen carefully.
Try to experience the dreamer’s dream as it is told to you.
Find your own projections; they will tell you about yourself.
Confidentiality: this is not your dream to pass on to others.
Remember not to give advice, explain the dream’s meaning
or tell the dreamer how to respond.
As a member of a dream group,
respect your own right to speak and not to speak.

Respect the Group:

Commit to attend.
Start and end on time; arrive on time, stay to the end.
The group is engaged in a process that needs every individual’s participation.
You are participating even when you are silent.
If you have any concerns about the group, please tell the group.
